I still use some of the hair accessories from my childhood (!) & it's been a few decades đ In fact, I keep a few clipped to the strap of a bag I carry & keep nearby knowing that, First, I'll know right where the clips are; Second, if I need to clip my hair when I'm out & about, I've these go-to hair clips right here with me & can, at least, somewhat pull my hair away from my face & get it out of my way.
As a brunette I've always enjoyed that most hair clips & barrettes come in sets which include black, brown, & gold. If not, then typically a black/brown & a golden one. The darkest always suit me well & I feel they are hidden in my hair, that, unless they're really looking, no one even notices they're in my hair. With it being on the thicker side, pulling my hair back in two matching sections is an added bonus & convenience. I feel more cleaned up & neat. Sometimes hair clips can be useful to ladies & as well as lasses. đ
