Reminiscing on Decorative Phrases for the Home

There had been a "Bathroom: No Loitering" handmade embroidery in my parents' powder room while I was in grade school. At some point a "Keep This Kitchen Clean: Eat Out" embroidery became a standard display above the kitchen counter.

Various phrases have been applied to signs & displays over the years including many about marriage, drinking coffee, wine, or beer, regarding best friends & sisters, embracing family, home life, laundry, & countless others.

A more current bathroom concern than loitering...those who use the toilet paper & neglecting to leave it suitable for the next user...
